HI! I'm Katherine Major and I'm a curiously whimsical graphic designer. Why curiously whimsical? I believe design should incorporate clever concepts and a sense of fun. My love for art started when I was a kid and would skip recess to work on my art projects. I went to the College for Creative Studies to further develop my skills beyond finger-painting. Research and concept were the two things highly emphasized in my education, which I enjoy most about design anyway. My personal goal is never to stop learning!
After graduation I took a breif break to do some humanitarian work. I went to Haiti and was a photographer for entrepreneurial mission to help local village women to start their own businesses. It was great to start my career with the proper perspective. When I got back I decided to leave Michigan and move to Ohio for other job opportunities and have been living in Cleveland ever since. Shortly after I was asked to join the board of AIGA Cleveland. I currently serve as the Membership Director.
